I wager that a universal human desperation is to wholly belong while at least subconsciously clasping onto any loving inclusion, if it applies, with fierceness.
It's why so many of us kill certain aspects of our identities while some of us go beyond chipping away portions of our souls by ripping out what remains to replace them with corporately synthesized ones; while those echoes of love are still not guaranteed. ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ *Visual art by Dimitris Vetsikas.*

This episode is glorious. It's the second best premiere (Season 1's still reigns) of an overall wonderful show.
The Flash is a series where hope does not shy away from pessimism when it arrives, for though the former dies in the latter's embrace, hope is a phoenix who is destined to reawake and radiate. Likewise, tragedy's existence is addressed, much more conversed with, as love supports they whose hearts are broken. I sped past my initial intent to arrive at that pertinent digression. Anyways, this episode gave me vibes (sorry Cisco) that are akin to the tones of the first season: A delicate balance of humour and melancholy, driven by a sense of adventure. P.S. Where are my fellow fans of The Flash? |
